The American Honda Motor Co.., Inc showing off the new-generation car-selling minivan, the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. The Honda Odyssey Concept is a minivan concept with a conventional slim style with low and wide stance.

View difference on the 2009 Honda Odyssey with the current, the Concept’s slightly lower roofline (-1.0 inch) and wider stance (+1.4 inch) contribute to a sleeker, stronger and more dynamic presence with improved aerodynamics that help increase fuel economy. Forthcoming improvements to the production Honda Odyssey’s interior are designed to further enhance the current model’s accommodating space for people and cargo. Both the concept and production vehicles, along with all development activity for the 2011 Odyssey, are being designed at Honda R&D Americas in Torrance, California, and Raymond, Ohio.

Exterior that displays sporty style, LED taillights and form-fit fog lights further heighten the sophisticated quality of the design. The steeply raked front and rear roof pillars, unique side-glass profile, chamfered roof line, and tapered rear cabin shape combine to create a dynamic and distinctive appearance from any perspective.

2010 Honda 3R-C Concept

European designers working at Honda’s Research and Design facility in Milan created the Honda 3R-C Concept. Three-wheeled vehicles with an electric battery power, shows what a future minimal urban transport vehicle for one person might look like.

The Honda 3R-C Concept used the battery electric drivetrain, so improving stability. It’s has a clear canopy that covers the driver’s seat while it is parked and not in use. When 3R-C vehicle is in motion, the canopy becomes an enveloping wind-shield that provides the pilot, who sits low in the vehicle, with significant protection from the bodywork and doors.

The Honda 3R-C Concept’s designers created a flexible cover that surrounds the upper torso to reduce exposure to bad weather and improving comfort. In front of the driver is a lockable boot area, which gives significant secure storage for luggage or other items.

As always we imagine that Honda will continue to innovate to be at the forefront. A little after Mugen’s announcement on the launch of a new lineup of styling and performance accessories, now Japan’s Spoon are approaching the new Honda CR-Z and applying their expertise to try to spiff up the firm’s hybrid sports coupe.

The tuner of Spoon is currently working on a new sport suspension kit that will lower the coupe’s ride height as well as on a high-performance brake system from Nisin and a new sport exhaust system. In addition, Spoon also offers to include a series of aero parts, alloy wheels and interior accessories.

Volvo Air Motion Open Air Car Design Concept Futuristic Car

Sport futuristic car Volvo Air Motion design concept presented at Los Angeles Auto Show Car Design Challenge Competition, Volvo car Maker Company. Unique open air car design technology whole innovative level with its “lighter than a Formula 1 racing car” study vehicles development. New Volvo Air Motion’s aerodynamic car body mirrors design the look of a clam shell and are built from an ultra light carbon fiber material that tips the scales at less than 1,000lbs.  Volvo built Volvo Air Motion concept car through fewer components and replaced the heavy internal combustion engine with powerful, nevertheless simple minimalist, compressed air motors. To compress the air wanted for the centrally mounted air tank, Volvo came up with a design for Air Replenishment Sites. Intended at enthusiast, Volvo Air Motion can be seen at the show in 1/4 scale model displayed in the area that connects the South and the West Halls. It fully showcases the beauty and purity of Scandinavian vision and further delivers a guilt free, raw driving experience.
