DESIGN PROCESS

The mission for Genesis Coupe was to create a pure performance car with a design that would capture the imagination of hardcore automotive enthusiasts. With the aggressive look from just about any angle, I think we have been able to do that.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe is also likely related to several Hyundai concept cars. Curve a strong, undulating beltline, surface detail, and “Z” bodyside lines come straight from the slopes and HCD9 sports coupe concept HCD8.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe’s rocker panels are interested in close to the ground to make extra bodysides thick and thin opening day, allowing the wheels can slam into bulging fenders. To complete the aggressive sports car look, the depth between the fenders and the greenhouse has been maximized.

Large openings in front of the line machine that allows for better breathing. Dual exhaust tips integrated into the rear fascia with surrounding blackout repeat the design theme of the front fascia graphic.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe rides a standard 18-inch alloy wheels or optional 19-inch wheels, both deliver bold and aggressive stance handling.
